n. These women take upon themselves great voyages to foreign countries in the hope of a better future. Their courage and endurance is outstanding.

As time passes, the issues covered in this blog have expanded to cover other kinds of specific women's work like sex work, historical ways of describing the plight of women: white slavery, human traffic or modern slavery as well identitarian politics and gender...

We edited the first images we have. They still need  context, but some of them are very beautiful:

an Ethiopian Christian mass in Beirut filled with dancing a singing women celebrating St. Gabriel,

a kindergarten full of migrant children showing a form of organization between migrant women

a touching interview with Philippine Rose at the Afro-Asian migrant center in Beirut and

a workshop
on domestic work during the World Social Forum in Mumbai figuring a wonderful lady from Domestic Workers United.
